Working with designers at Stanley Bearman & Sears we developed a unified aesthetic influenced by the exterior design that is rooted in flight, motion and speed.

Gullwing Club Identity
The Mercedes-Benz Gullwing Club is the most exclusive club in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Team owner Arthur Blank personally requested my in-house team be charged with developing the identity for the Gullwing Club.
The Custom Type Mark Draws Inspiration from the Classic Mercedes-Benz 300SL.
The “w” in the typemark has been modified to subtly mimic the gullwing door style, while the rest of the typeface’s deep curves are reminiscent of the fluid shape found in the body of the vehicle.
